Straight from The Sound of Paros’ latest EP, here comes “Mister Mystery”, the opening track and the mysterious gateway to the world of “Ama Rêverie”.
The more new songs by Malou Lovis come my way, the more enchanted I become. While her sound becomes warmer and warmer, and her lyrics continue having this cool, light-hearted way of story-telling, every subject becomes interesting to explore.
You might have noticed that I love discovering new artists. There is nothing better in my life than that moment when a new song, or a voice I have previously not heard before, fires up all my synapses, all at the same time.
Every artist has that dream, a driving force behind all their creations. The dream may have many shapes and sizes but, once stripped down to the intention behind it, it is always the same. To make a meaningful difference in the world we live in.
Just in case it has not transpired before, I am a hopeless sucker for spoken word and jazz poetry. Which is how this debut single by the South African artist, Miriam Altman, begins.
