Great news for jazz lovers. After a string of singles, which were teasing the upcoming release, Monika Ryan’s latest album is finally out.
“Black Bird” is the latest single released by William Pilgrim & The All Grows Up. The song is inspired by the death of Eric Garner, and addresses systemic injustice and the numbing effect of social media on real-world tragedies.
Six or seven weeks after the premiere, writing another “Confessions II” review would be an overkill.
Bettine Solf’s third album, „Groundhog Day”, had its premiere on the 5th August.
The 14th episode of NIGHTSWIMMING was aired on the 4th August 2026 on the Luxembourgish Radio ARA.

Just in case it has not transpired before, I am a hopeless sucker for spoken word and jazz poetry. Which is how this debut single by the South African artist, Miriam Altman, begins.
