With the release of “Glances”, it seems that the eclectic capacity of World Collage is limitless. Starting with electronic vibes, and travelling through a strings-dominated section, only to end in the realm of jazz sounding samples.
This independent Spanish duo, made up of two brothers, feels like a constant competition, or a way to impress one another by yet another turn in their music’s arrangements. “Glances” is a prime example of this supposed approach, where diverse genres literally fight for attention, making it a fascinating tune where the only rule is no rules.
If you get hooked by “Glances”, there is so much more to explore, too, as World Collage does not seem to sleep either, and they have produced an abundance of tracks in 2024 alone.
