Happy Friday everyone! As this insanely volatile (weather-wise) month comes to an end, I’ve got a bit of tropical house for you. Yes, tropical house. Between extreme heatwaves and crazy thunderstorms of this year’s European summer, I thought this could be a little treat for all of us.
As far as tropical house goes, “New Day” is pretty laidback, and understandably relaxing. With its upbeat rhythm and saxophone hooks, this is xoxo’s first attempt at this genre. Quite a pleasant one, I might add, and straight to the point. Bringing images of sunny islands, sandy beaches and crystal clear water, it makes you wanna yearn for more time off, in a perfect world, where all corpo-offices are located at holiday resorts.
Well, tomorrow’s a new day, as the song goes, so let this music give you a bit of a breather before the back-to-school madness begins for real.
