With the summer in full bloom, here’s one more light dance tune for your consideration. It feels like a chilling breeze during an extreme heatwave, which is what I am experiencing as I am writing these words.
Pandhora is a solar-punk-inspired, electronic music project whose France-based founders, Amine and Rémi, seek “community over accolades, and wonder over certainty”. These ambitious goals are translated into music which, to me, sounds like the wind, and the shimmer of bamboo trees touched by nothing else but nature. It’s that lightness which I have already mentioned before, and the eco-friendly, occasionally tropical sounds, that make you think of a green planet, completely taken out of the corporate context.
There’s a lot of hope in this philosophy but listening to “Unfold Your Heart” can be experienced with or without it. Ultimately, it is how the audience receives the music, and what they will do with it, that counts. Hopefully, the message will be heard. If not, well, then perhaps at least my bamboo shimmering comparison will give you a nice, cooling sensation. Enjoy the music!
