Emergency Tiara is fronted by Juri, the actual queen of the project. Born and raised in Tokyo, currently based in New York, Juri makes sure every sound you hear is unforgettable. Different being her second nature, she clearly wishes to take you on a sonic journey to a world where terms such as “quirky”, “absurd” or “unusual” simply do not exist.
This parallel universe of beautiful vibes, sparkly, glittery music and extraordinary experiences will mesmerise your mind and give you a moment of an absolutely shameless, insane fun. What you are going to do with this is totally up to you, obviously, but do not miss out on it as what you are about to experience is super rare these days!

Rather than Yoko and Kate, I would associate Emergency Tiara with Rina Sawayama (but much brighter) and Gwen Stefani. I have mixed feelings in general, I like the sound, but I’m not into vocals, they seem to be too sweet for me. 😅 But if there’s any EP or album incoming, I would give it a listen.

Yes, Rina is also a cool comparison, but I could swear, there are moments when I can literally hear Kate Bush 🙂
