Pre-weekend vibes and EDM music, you would agree, this is some form of rarity for this particular website. However, hear me out! This collaboration between a Polish DJ Remo, and an Irish singer-songwriter, Emmet Glascott, has really made me wanna sway and dance with its bouncy beat and the slightly melancholic vocals. Yep, melancholic vocals make me want to dance, get over it 🙂
Back to DJ Remo and “Mine”, his way to fight the passing of the time with music releases is an interesting motivation to say the least. In his own words: “I have to release songs very often because I’m over 40 years old, and this is the last moment for me to be successful in dance music”. Arguably, not true. Do you remember Giorgio Moroder and his track “74 Is the New 24”? This is where I, personally, would go with that. Music has no limits after all.
Back to “Mine” again, the party track, the fun music with a dash of melancholic emotion, with almost 40k Spotify streams, it seems to be the right moment for DJ Remo and his ambitious goal of reaching one million listeners by the time he turns 50. I like a good challenge, so here’s wishing to double that by 60!

I remember DJ Remo’s singles on VIVA Polska fifteen years ago or so (gosh, I miss those times). “Mine” is a very radio-friendly song perfect for summer playlists and evenings spent with friends Not my cup of tea, but I wish nothing but success. 😊
Greetings.
