How to make a dystopian electro track more accessible to a wider audience? Add vocals and tell an irresistible story! “The Whole World Has Gone Insane” by a LosAngeles / Kyiv Artist, The Siren, has seamlessly achieved just that.
The pure darkness of cold-sounding synthesizers becomes a backdrop for an animated visual which combines all those well-known elements of a dystopian world. Hopeless future, a complete destruction of human empathy, and a digitalisation of everything around.
The animation, which is truly stunning on its own, complements the music perfectly. Black and white elements have mostly been decorated with just one additional colour. The effect is a goosebumps-inducing experience which sucks you in from start to finish. Like that irrational nightmare we have all probably had at some stage after binging one of the “Stranger Things” episodes too many.
This time, however, an invitation to watch and listen to this song with me comes with a disclaimer. You will be mesmerised and you will be unable to let go. Is this really such a bad thing, though?
