Six or seven weeks after the album premiere, writing another “Confessions II” review would be an overkill. Much has already been said about Madonna’s groundbreaking return to house and dance music, and I do not intend to add to the noise. But the album is brilliant. As simple as that.
A question for you, though. Am I the only one (I hope I’m not the only one) who has noticed that the continuous mix kinda breaks at one moment? There is a significant change in the vibe and the tempo between “School” and “Fragile”, as if another song was meant to be sitting there.
What do you think? Am I making any sense? At this stage, I will take any conspiracy theory you throw my way!
