Over the course of 2024, I have been privileged to discover and/or (virtually) meet a number of Artists for whom building a niche around their art has been an ambitious goal and a result of their impossible-to-resist passion.
I thought that it would be a good idea to create my first 2024-in-review post with a playlist reminding you some of their tracks. This is my subjective selection of tunes which have stirred something inexpressible in me, made me stop for a moment and think – how I wish I would be able to work with them one day.
And, guess what, with some of them, I actually have. More on that in 2025 and, in the meantime, here’s one sentence summary per track as the focus should be, and is, on their incredible music.
10. TabInStereo, AURC, Anitek “EarthBound” – an insane beat, heavy bass lines, and urban darkness at its best.
09. Naima Faraò “Vortex” – an alternative RnB tune, jazzy vibes, a soothing fusion for a tortured soul.
08. Raagaverse, Shruti Ramani – a beautiful blend of world music influences with jazz madness, a huge release of emotions contained in six minutes of music.
07. Neon Sines, Ariana Celaeno “Escape” – a trippy adventure immersed in heavy electronic sounds and ear-worm-like melodies.
06. The Subtheory, Nównøis “Untrue” – my favourite collab from The Subtheory’s debut album, “Shark tank”.
05. Amélie Swann “Problems” – gentle, sensual and dark, exactly how it should be!
04. Holy Høly, NUN “From The Ashes” – an irresistible Portishead inspiration which takes you back to those trippy nights of 1994, delivered in a modern 2024 fashion, pure pleasure to listen to on repeat.
03. ILKAMA “Den som blir” – my favourite track from “ILKAMANIA”, featuring a seemingly chaotic beat which builds an introspective reaction to a beautiful backdrop of a soundscape.
02. Nü “Adult.Era” – mysterious, cinematic, rough on the edges – makes you stop for a short moment and enjoy simply being in its incredible sonic world.
01. Nównøis, The Third Mind “Like a River – The Third Mind Remix” – an amazingly tormented version, full of electronic tension, literally submerging you in emotions which are both unreal and mesmerising.
And if you would like to listen to my own creations, here they are, purposely excluded from the above playlist: DXCV3R, The $cience, ThunderFuzz.

I’ve listened to them all, probably I enjoyed tracks 1 and 4 the most. “Problems” reminds me of “St Jude” by Florence + the Machine a lot.
Looking forward to new music in 2025. 😊
