On this greyish Sunday morning, I have something warmly beautiful for you. Combining elements of Neo-soul with jazz, here’s Traliece B.’s “Forever Love” – a song that got me smitten within the first few seconds, and then until the end, and then on repeat multiple times.
Traliece B. is a violinist, singer, and songwriter with an eclectic background which includes classical music and jazz, among others. I think what has immediately drawn me to her music was the timbre of her voice – warm, positively emotional and somehow reminding me of the two unquestionable Neo-soul divas combined together – Erykah Badu and Jill Scott.
“Forever Love” is more than just a song — it’s a movement. Its irresistible groove, coupled with its poignant message, calls to a new generation of jazz enthusiasts while honouring the roots of the genre. Add to it a truly heart-warming solos – violin and piano, and you will get an irresistible fusion of vibes, calming, relaxing, romantic, soft, and – well, yes, that word again – beautiful.
We don’t get enough love and warmth in this world, so here is a remedy for this deficiency. A musical piece that will increase the temperature in your heart and, for a few moments, it will make you feel softer and more cozy than ever before.
