This preview of Dr Goodfellow’s forthcoming album is hopefully a promise of a conceptual sci-fi saga, and since I have loved electronic concept albums since David Bowie’s “Outside”, I got hooked immediately.
“The Adventure” is not your typical radio single. It is more of an invitation to immerse your imagination is someone else’s dystopian vision of intergalactic music. Getting flashback images from watching “The Fifth Element” is kind of a given as soon as you realise where this is going – a beginning of an unconventional story and an introduction to dream with your ears wide open. The sky is no longer the limit in this uncharted sci-fi world where everything is sonically possible.
