So, here we go again! The month of May is over and the time is high to present the tunes I have been in love with over the last few weeks.
From the groovy funk of “Showing Off”, to the electronic emotionals of “Bitten”, to a track from the latest Joywave release.
This brings us to “Better” by xoxodubstep. This catchy future bass tune is full of electronic drama. Musically reminiscing of the best Chainsmokers tracks, it does not veer off far from what is expected in this genre. However, it does it in a classy style, melodic and quiet radio-friendly. I am looking forward to hearing more songs by this Artist.

What else is there? Well, TabInStereo who paired up with Anitek, and their amazing “Brain Box”, followed by Emergency Tiara’s “Custom Made”, and a fresh new tune by nównøis. Her “Like a River”, a trip hop inspired soundscape, takes you on an immersive journey to your inner self in a very intensive way.
I wouldn’t be myself if I haven’t included, in full transparency, one of the songs which I was obsessing about during May. It is called “CHIHIRO” and it is performed by some new Artist called Billie Eilish. Alight, I am messing with you here, but suffice to say, it is a definite highlight of Billie’s latest album. Well, this is actually an understatement, as in my personal opinion, it’s one of the best tunes I have heard this year so far.
So, how do we end the May’s Mood Board? Well, apart from our super fresh ThunderFuzz track, the grand finale belongs to a 10-minute-long jazz insanity!
“Challenging Uncertainty” by Ohnarp JANSON is a true musical trip which requires time and attention. It will take you to different places, once you let it in and let go of everything else. During its 10-minute run, it really creates a goosebumps-inducing experience, which – if you are into jazz even a little bit – will not leave you high and dry. In fact, you will be grateful for having your emotions tangled and untangled multiple times. This is an incredible brain massage in a jazz-filled musical spa of sorts and, if you get hooked like I did, you will be coming back to this track multiple time!

As always, enjoy the music, and let me know what your favourites are!
