In this new cycle, similarly to the monthly Instagram photo dump, I will be sharing Spotify playlists with tracks which occupied my mind in the previous month. Some will be new, some you may have already read about on my website, but there will also be a mix of other discoveries and new, more mainstream tunes.
The January playlist opens with an amazing world/jazz “Saajan” by Raagaverse. Then we swiftly move on to “Taboo” by Gabriels, coming from one of the most amazing albums of 2023. Novelties also include a new delivery by Nothing But Thieves, and a beautiful new single from Lizz Wright. The final touch belongs to the German band AnnenMayKantereit and their rendition of Britney Spears’ “Toxic”.
