Today, I am premiering the ECLECTIC MAZE. My official Bartek Music / DXCV3R collection of favourite tracks of the moment. Plus, whatever is stuck in my head and playing on repeat. Tirelessly, addictively, at the same time.
You can expect an eclectic selection of multiple genres, that’s a given with me anyway. And in addition to the NIGHTSWIMMING playlists, ECLECTIC MAZE will now serve as the main source of my current fascinations. Including all the latest discoveries from platforms such as Groover, OTONAMI, etc.
My intention is to grow ECLECTIC MAZE over time, rather than periodically delete all the tracks and replace them with new stuff. This way, it will hopefully live and breathe on its own. As it ages over time. With me.
So, here’s what you can find in the initial set. One of my favourite songs of this year by the Brazilian duo, Claxy. Two of my fav Madonna tracks from “Confessions II”. Cool debutants, such as Scott Quinn and cool returns, such as Tori Amos and Sam Smith. A collection of electronic vibes (Janus Rasmussen, BRDN), smoothly blended with rock (Nothing But Thieves, Alabama Shakes!). Some independent music (Shonah). A great cover from the latest Meshell Ndegeocello album, “Synonym”. Some dance (new the new Troye Sivan album) and some RnB sadness (Masego). And to top it up, three selected tunes from my latest release, “The Amygdala Effect”.
So here it is, ECLECTIC MAZE, Day 1:
Enjoy the music!
