ALBUM PREMIERE: BURN “Chopped and Shattered”

Needless to say, this announcement comes with a ton of excitement and joy. BURN, the music project of Holy Høly and myself, has just released its debut album. Titled “Chopped and Shattered”, a direct reference to ‘chopped vocals and shattered hearts”, it contains nine song rooted in trip hop, industrial and dark electronica. With electro beats, deep basslines, and atmospheric sound textures, it is a result of almost two years of work. And we are happy to present it to you, the finished work, representing a blend of our music fascinations.

“Chopped and Shattered” features tracks with a dark and expressive character, but also some more subtle ambient moods, as well as distinctly danceable tracks. I guess neither Holy, nor myself would be fully satisfied if we didn’t go full-on eclectic on this collection of tunes. 

Interesting fact. All songs on the album have single-word titles which, put together, form a sentence.
