Today’s Sunday Chill is like the cover of the EP it is on. Clear blue skies, relaxing atmosphere and a bit of a lounge vibe in the urban setting. It was produced by Papa Goods, an Australian musician who says he is “writing songs to dance and songs to relax to, all at once”.
Surprisingly enough, what has drawn me to “Shotgun” in the first place, was this tiny bit of sadness that you can hear in the vocals, and that carefully dosed nostalgia which lingers throughout the entire track. For me, it’s the feeling of an apparent loneliness that you can sometimes feel in a big city.
“Shotgun” is a definite highlight of Papa Good’s EP, “Emma Street”, which proposes an eclectic selection of five various urban vibes, with different moods, and different energies. Give it a go while you are discovering “Shotgun”, and dive into the seductive soundscape of Papa Good’s definition of chill.

Nice selection!
Unfortunately I’m not a fan of this one. It’s too mellow. 🫣
Greetings.
